Hire the Stanley Club for your event.

Offering so much more for your money than similar venues, the Stanley Club in Burscough boasts one of the largest single spaces within the local area. We have a large function room suitable for private events, gatherings and meetings.

  • The cost of hiring one of our rooms is*:
    • Standard event £50
    • Christening £75 with £25 refund on the day if the room is kept tidy
    • All day events £100
    • Children’s parties £60 (Sundays only)
    • Sorry, no 18th birthday parties
  • The function room can be decorated and laid out to your requirements - it has a large dance floor, bar area, stage (for any acts and/or DJs), and a raised area that can be used for extra seating or a buffet area; access to a kitchen area is also available.
  • You can either use our facilities, or we are able to recommend some local catering firms if you wish. The Function room will hold a maximum of 180 people, however should the top area be required for buffet purposes the maximum number of people attending will be restricted to 160*.
  • To ensure that the Stanley Club is the correct venue for your event, and to help ensure that your evening goes smoothly, we do require that you review and accept our Terms and Conditions at the bottom of the form.

Terms and Conditions

● Booking fees as listed above.
● Provisional bookings will not be accepted.
● Full fee must be paid at the time of making the booking.
● Cancellation of a booking will result in a forfeiture of all monies paid.
● Children under the age of fifteen must be accompanied by an adult.
● Persons under the age of eighteen shall not be permitted to purchase alcoholic drinks.
● It will be the responsibility of the Hirer to ensure that all persons attending conduct themselves in an orderly manner.
● The club shall reserve the right to charge the Hirer all costs incurred caused by damage to fixtures and fittings within the duration of the function.
● An additional sum of £25.00 must be deposited with the booking fee for Christenings. This additional sum will be refunded when the Club Steward or his Assistant is satisfied that the Social hall and kitchen area are being left in a clean and tidy condition.
● No alcoholic or soft drinks are allowed to be brought into the Club. All drinks and crisp type snacks must be purchased from the Club Bar.
